Veronica lives at home in a very traditional Chinese family environment. She has struggled with low self-esteem and poor self-confidence all her life, always feeling like the “family doormat” and never good enough. A talented dancer, Veronica has been told all her life that she is fat. She is hoping that this journey will allow her to not only become strong physically, but that it will also help her to find - and express - her voice.
